Fig and Gorgonzola Crostini- Two Ways

  • 1 loaf french baguette sliced
  • 4 oz. gorgonzola cheese room temperature
  • 1 small jar fig spread or 2-3 large figs sliced thin
  • extra virgin olive oil for drizzling
  • *honey for drizzling


  • Preheat oven to 375 F.
  • Place sliced bread onto baking sheet and lightly drizzle oil over bread.
  • Toast until golden brown 12-15 min.
  • Allow bread to cool then spread on cheese.
  • Top with either a small spoonful of fig spread or sliced figs.
  • *If using fresh figs, drizzle a small amount of honey on top.
